Brian is a Technical Advisor at PwC in Jakarta with more than 25 years professional experience as an international tax and business advisor. Throughout his career he has focused on advising multi-national clients in navigating the often complex tax and regulatory environment experienced when investing and operating businesses in emerging markets. Prior to arriving in Jakarta in 2012, he was a tax partner at PwC in Central & Eastern Europe, including time spent based in Russia, Romania and Moldova. While most of his career was with PwC, he went to work for Macquarie Bank for several years while living in Korea. He originally joined the international tax services group at PwC's New York office in 1992 and also spent time earlier in his career working at PwC in Moscow and Seoul.
His qualifications include a Masters in Professional Accounting (Tax) from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Saint Michael’s College (Vermont, USA). Brian is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Brian currently serves as a Governor and President of AmCham Indonesia, and was previously an active member of the respective AmCham's in Korea, Russia, Romania and Moldova.
