Adam Schwarz is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Asia Group Advisors LLC, a strategy and investment advisory consultancy supporting leading global businesses, foundations, and international organizations active across Asia.
Based in Southeast Asia since 1987, Adam leverages a deep set of relationships with business, political and civil-society leaders across the region to help companies manage a range of policy, regulatory, risk and communications challenges. Adam is considered a leading international authority on Indonesia and has served as advisor to the U.S. State Department, Defense Department, the World Bank and the Comprehensive Partnership between Indonesia and the United States. He is a member of the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations, an Advisory Board member of the United States - Indonesia Society, a Research Fellow at Murdoch University’s Asia Research Centre, a past member of the Chairman’s Advisory Committee at Indonesia’s National REDD+ Task Force, and an Adjunct Senior Fellow in S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies in Singapore.
