Daniel L. Wieczynski – Governor

Daniel L. Wieczynski was appointed to the position of President of ExxonMobil Indonesia in January 2016.

Mr. Wieczynski joined Exxon Company U.S.A. at the Baton Rouge Refinery in 1990.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Ohio State University.
Throughout his 26 years career with ExxonMobil, Mr. Wieczynski has held senior technical, operational, managerial and executive positions around the world.  
The first 13 years were in ExxonMobil’s Downstream Refining and Supply organization, where Mr. Wieczynski held engineering and management positions at the Baton Rouge and Baytown refineries, as well as the Supply organization.  
Since 2003, Mr. Wieczynski has held numerous positions in the Upstream Development Company, including Project Manager for the Adriatic LNG Terminal pipelines in Italy; Project Manager for the South Hook LNG Terminal in Wales, UK; Project Director seconded to the Gorgon LNG Project; and his latest prior assignment as Senior Vice President and Indonesia Project Executive for ExxonMobil Cepu Limited in Indonesia.
“As President of ExxonMobil’s affiliates in Indonesia, Mr. Wieczynski is responsible for overseeing Cepu Block production and development of future new opportunities such as the Kedung Keris oil project, Downstream, Chemicals, and LNG growth, while also leading external relationships with Partners, Government, and key stakeholders. He is a Governor of AmCham Indonesia (American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia) and a Director of the Indonesian Petroleum Association.”
