There was something different about the fourth AmCham networking night of the year on April 12. Against the festive backdrop commemorating Kartini Day, AmCham Indonesia’s Education and Workforce Development Committee hosted its CSO and Social Entrepreneur Night, inviting corporate social obligation (CSO) and social entrepreneurs focusing on education and job skills development in Indonesia to participate and introduce their programs.
This received positive feedback from both sides, making for a great opportunity for members and guests to both learn something new and get together, meet friends, make new business and social contacts and of course, enjoy lovely food and beverages.
This month, we would like to express our appreciation to our venue sponsor, AYANA Midplaza Jakarta, formerly the InterContinental hotel, which hosted us in its Grand Ballroom, one of Jakarta’s most notable conference and meeting venues. Offering an elegant indoor and outdoor space with a garden connected to the Jimbaran Lounge. The networking night was made even more amazing by the finest dishes and desserts.
Special recognition goes to our generous Spotlight Sponsor for the evening, Santa Fe Relocation Services, which is an ongoing sponsor for AmCham events. Santa Fe Relocation Services offers moving, relocation, real estate, and visa and immigration services for individuals and companies moving to Indonesia and around the world. Whether you manage your records by carton, file, document or magnetic media, Santa Fe Relocation Services can help you catalogue, locate and retrieve information quickly.
AmCham Indonesia would also like to thank Stark Beer. Passionately brewed in North Bali, Stark Beer is the only beer made in Bali, and the only craft beer made in Indonesia.
And, finally, we would like to thank all other guests, sponsors and participating organizations: ASA Asia Foundation, Habitat For Humanity Indonesia, Indonesia Mengajar, The Jakarta Foreign Correspondents Club (JFCC), MauBelajarApa.com, Pustakalana’s Children Library, the Red Nose Foundation, Sahabat Pulau, TEMU - Digital Blue-Collar Job Marketplace, the Tri Kusuma Bangsa Foundation, Yayasan Sahabat Cipta (YSC) and the YCAB Foundation, for their great support and participation.
We hope to see you again at our next Networking Evening.
