We invite you to our ASEAN Committee Kick-Off meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, Jan 31, 2023 at 10:00–11:00.

 

Indonesia’s 2023 Chairmanship of ASEAN offers the opportunity to play a greater role regionally in fostering economic growth and connectivity, accelerating the transition to an inclusive and participatory digital economy, and promoting green infrastructure. The US government has also put more focus on ASEAN, as it finally appointed Ambassador Yohannes Abraham as the US Ambassador to ASEAN, a Jakarta-based posting that was vacant for more than five years.

 

AmCham’s ASEAN Committee will gather companies to discuss how the US business community can engage with key stakeholders in ASEAN, pave productive communications, and provide suggestions. The Kick-off meeting will discuss Indonesia’s ASEAN Chairmanship and the committee’s plans for 2023.
