Despite transitioning into endemic, Indonesia is still experiencing challenges from the Covid-19 pandemic, increasing volatility for businesses, raising the urgency to strengthen human sustainability. This form of sustainability aims to maintain and improve human capital in society, such as through investment in the health and education systems, access to services, nutrition, and knowledge and skills. This is imperative for the preparation of workers for a future in an ever-changing world.

In this session, we will discuss and listen in from the President of Vision-Ease Asia Aily Chandra and Chief of Party of USAID PADU Lensi Mursida, on evaluating current approaches to ensure workforce resiliency, increasing access to welfare programs, and improving skills to enhance the sustainability of Indonesia’s human capital.
