Dear AmCham Members and Initiative Members,
As he nears the end of his ten years in office, President Joko Widodo’s record in implementing significant economic reforms is obviously in the spotlight. With the 2024 elections nearing and a change of government imminent, it's essential to reflect on the lessons learned from his policies and chart a clear economic direction for Indonesia under the next administration.
The 11th annual US-Indonesia Investment Summit – Mapping the Legacy, Navigating the Future – aims to crystallize President Widodo’s legacy on economic policies, noting the lessons learned from the successes and challenges faced during his tenure, and receive insights on future economic policies in anticipation of the 2024 presidential election.
This year's Summit will foster discussions between leading US companies, prominent ministers from the current administration, experts, US Government representatives, and major players in the 2024 political landscape. Additionally, AmCham Indonesia and the US Chamber of Commerce will also release a concise 2023 Investment Report for the consideration of the next administration.
Please MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the Summit on October 24!
Regards,
AmCham Indonesia
