Services Committee In-Person Meeting January 2023

Dear Friends & Colleagues,

One more time, please accept our (mine as well as the AmCham team’s) best wishes for a "happy, healthy and prosperous 2023". Let’s hope for the best, and continue with our Services Breakfast, just as we have done over the past 30 years.

I am asking you today, to please block Wednesday, Jan 25 from 08:00am-09:30am in your calendars, and to reserve that time for our next, casual “around the table" information exchange, enjoyed over a nice breakfast, at a location to be – officially – shared closer to the event, but surely no surprise for any regular participants.

As always, let me also reach out to potential newcomers to the services breakfast, explaining that we tend to bring together members and representatives of the broadest possible services spectrum of the local business environment. Our casual, yet very professional information exchange, tends to provide the opportunity to listen to observations, concerns and expectations from business sectors like banking, insurance, security, tax, IT, hospitality, real estate, movers, educators, manufacturers, distributors, consultants of any background, and also very informative updates from the US Embassy.

We also "take the temperature” across all the participating sectors, aiming to establish a picture which tells us what is to be expected going forward. All in all, our services sessions guarantee the extremely valuable accumulation of information needed to support our local presence, serving regional and head office expectations, and allowing the participants to build/ maintain business relations otherwise not that easy to come by.

Two additional things, I am always asking for, are the confirmation of participation with the AmCham office (but please only if you are, indeed, expecting to join), and a brief, written summary of your input, which will later be incorporated, into the seriously useful minutes of the session.

I very much look forward to seeing you on the 25th, at 08:00am sharp (please be on time), and let me point out that I am merely playing the role of the “traffic conductor", while it is you who will make the session a success, as the AmCham Services Breakfast is well so well known for.
