Services Committee Virtual Meeting May 2022
May 25, 2022 / 07:30 - 09:00

Dear Friends & Colleagues,

This is an attempt to reach out to you, prior to the long “vacation” which is just around the corner.

I hope that we can still get into your calendars, before everything grinds to a halt or, alternatively, as soon as all possible, after the normal work schedules kick in again.

Our next Services Committee (still Zoom) session is scheduled for Wednesday, May 25, commencing at 07:30am (sharp), and ending as close to 09:00am as possible. Please be so kind as to reserve that time window for our always very informative exchange of observations, expectations and concerns, so that the resulting picture of the local business environment is something of value, not only for us here in Indonesia, but also as far as regional and global reporting is concerned.

For potential newcomers to the services session you, as well as all the long standing participants in our (currently still) “breakfast without breakfast”, are expected to provide a brief and concise summary of the business challenges and success stories you have experienced lately, complementing that with a few, short, written notes we will then incorporate into our services minutes.

We are expecting the usual great turnout/input from our highly experienced membership, ranging from banking to insurance, security, real estate, taxation, the hotel sector, education, forwarding and moving, IT and communication, manufacturers and health providers, as well as leading consultants of all kinds of backgrounds - the list goes on - rounded out by additional input from the embassy and, of course, AmCham senior management.

Additionally, as has become a services breakfast tradition, we will be taking the temperature regarding the business environment we are committed to, establishing very interesting percentages of “positive”, “negative” or “undecided” votes.

I very much look forward to seeing you all, on Wednesday, May 25, but also request that confirmations regarding your participation are not just “casual”, but seriously intended to make the contributions we are looking for. Last minute changes, obviously, are always something we fully understand, but “no shows” because of confirmations to the AmCham office that were not really meant to be serious cause unnecessary work and confusion which should really be avoided.

See you all, Wednesday, May 25, at 07:30AM, after the Zoom links, following your registration, have been shared by our AmCham office colleagues.
