AmCham Indonesia held a special virtual networking evening to celebrate both the US fourth of July Independence Day, and say a big thank you for the support of members during the troubled times of the Covid-19 pandemic.
AmCham Chairman Scott Hanna opened the July 8 virtual networking event, AmCham's first of the year, thanking members for helping AmCham through these hard times and also recognizing the very sad situation currently with the pandemic. He offered a moment of silence to remember the good friends we have lost and others who are ill.
There was fun also, however. The evening included virtual quizzes and wheelspins, with members receiving great prizes including: Taman Sari vouchers and Bhumi Varta t-shirts, vouchers for Turkuaz Restaurant and Warung Turki, bottles of whiskey from Delta Airlines, wine hampers from AmCham Indonesia, and scented candles from Qatar Airways.
Hell, Michigan is a real town. Strange, Utah is not. Who knew?
The star prize of the evening was an Elitebook laptop, courtesy of HP. It was won by Henny Flint, manager of the American Club. Was she happy? Oh yeah.
AmCham also sent gift bags to the first 30 registrants with goodies from our sponsors, which also included Coca-Cola, Asian Tigers, Reckitt Indonesia, Mars, Starbucks, Tom Heischman, American Airlines, and the American Club. The wine was involved from the AmCham cellars.
“Even when times are tough, we have to celebrate the good times,” said AmCham Managing Director A Lin Neumann.
