Competitive compensation plans was the hot topic during AmCham Indonesia’s Human Resources Committee Meeting on April 14.
Recognizing the growing importance of benefits and reward schemes in retaining top talent, the meeting centered around compensation offered in Indonesia, how it compares to other countries in the region, and briefly discussed the implications of the updated tax treatment on benefits-in-kind.
As young people dominate Indonesia's labor market, companies need to be aware of what they want, including providing flexible benefits to secure and retain the best talent. The session featured a presentation from Director of Work and Rewards at Willis Towers Watson (WTW) Indonesia Silvia Rianawati Drajati and Work and Rewards RDS Manager at WTW Indonesia Raditya Ocki Ristanto, who spoke of the latest market and salary trends here.
During the regular committee updates, topics such as the job positions available for foreign workers, the relaunch of the Multiple Entry Visa, and a reminder on meeting the religious holiday allowance deadline were also discussed.
The AmCham Human Resources Committee acts as the hub for knowledge on workforce related issues among Indonesian and foreign businesses, and plans further engagements throughout 2023. For further details on the committee, please contact: [email protected].
