AmCham Indonesia held a joint Human Resources and Corporate Citizenship Committee Meeting on Aug 16. The human element of sustainability was the main topic of discussion.
The session saw a lively discussion with USAID PADU Chief of Party Lensi Mursida about USAID PADU’s BLK employment assistance program which strives to enhance Indonesia’s human resources development, in cooperation with the Ministry of Manpower. Vision Ease Asia President Director Aily Chandra also showcased the company’s initiatives on developing a human-centric approach in strengthening sustainable skills and education.
Participants also deliberated on challenges in Indonesia’s human resource sector, promoting ways to build sustainable partnerships between the government and private sector, addressing the needs of the workforce, and recent immigration updates under Government Regulation 40/2023.
