Dear Friends & Colleagues,

The new year has begun and, while we are all hoping that 2021 will be better than what we just left behind, the first signals that are coming in our direction, are quite a bit less promising than what is needed to really feel good. This pertains to personal exposures, like the ongoing COVID consequences, but also to our responsibilities from the business angle. While I am wishing all of us a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year, I also want to remind all of us, that the AmCham services committee continues to provide a seriously important venue, to learn how to build one’s own needs and strategies, around the vast experiences of its membership in general.

Therefore I am happy to invite you all to our first ZOOM “services breakfast - without breakfast” (hoping this will change again, sooner rather than later) of the year, for Tuesday, January 26th, at 8:30 AM sharp.

For potential newcomers to the Services Committee sessions, let me briefly explain that we are, in a casual, “around the table” fashion, sharing business-related observations and experiences, amongst others, covering the financial services sector e.g. banking and insurance, accounting, tax, and other consulting expertise, the security, real estate, hospitality, education, I.T. and health sectors, but also marketing, distribution, manufacturing, the list goes on, and also tend to be joined by representatives from the US embassy as well as USAID.

Please put the January 26th session into your calendars and confirm your participation with the RSVP below, so that we can then supply you with the required ZOOM link, to tune into this very promising first Services Committee session of the year. I am looking forward, as always, to your carrying the meeting with your contributions, while I am going to direct the traffic, take notes and, eventually, prepare the resulting minutes of the event.
