Dear AmCham Members and Friends,
Hearing the word “e-commerce,” it is natural to think that it refers to online marketplace platforms such as Tokopedia, Shopee, Bukalapak, etc. However, a closer look at Indonesian e-commerce regulations indicates that this might not be the case. This month’s economic forum would like to take a deeper look on Indonesian e-commerce regulations - GR 80/2019 and all of its implementing regulations; how e-commerce is defined in the Indonesian regulatory system, which industries might be impacted and potential implications of these regulations to the growth and investment climate of the Indonesian digital economic sector. Featuring Fahrul Yusuf from SSEK Indonesian Legal Consultants and Rofi Uddarojat from Indonesia E-Commerce Association (IdEA), the Forum will be held virtually.
The discussion will be moderated by Gusti Kahari, Government Relations Director, AmCham Indonesia.
Please be noticed that the event will be in Bahasa Indonesia.
