We cordially invite you to attend the AmCham Indonesia Halal Workshop 2026: Assessing Industry Readiness for Mandatory Halal Certification, to be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 09:00 – 12:00 WIB (GMT 7). The workshop sessions will conclude at 11:30, followed by a networking lunch until 12:00.

As Indonesia approaches the October 2026 mandatory halal certification implementation deadline, businesses across multiple sectors continue to prepare for compliance with evolving halal requirements. While implementation efforts have progressed, many companies still face practical challenges related to certification procedures, sector-specific interpretations, supply chain readiness, operational adjustments, and post-certification implementation.

Held under the AmCham Indonesia Halal Working Group, this workshop aims to facilitate a focused and constructive discussion between government stakeholders and industry representatives on the technical implementation of halal certification requirements. The session will also provide a platform for companies to share practical experiences, readiness gaps, and implementation challenges ahead of the deadline.

The workshop will feature representatives from relevant government institutions, including the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH), the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Industry, and LPPOM MUI.

Due to limited space, participation is limited to one representative per company, on a first-come, first-served basis. The session will be conducted in Bahasa Indonesia.
