AmCham Indonesia Career Fair 2022
October 24, 2022 | by AmCham Webmaster

Nearly 500 recent graduates and young professionals attended the AmCham Indonesia Career Fair on Oct 21-22. Together with our friends at @america, the event brought together 10 multinational companies to meet fresh young talent, and provided them with not only job opportunities but also advice on building a better resume and how to handle a job interview.

This year's Career Fair was opened by AmCham Indonesia Education and Workforce Development Committee Co-Chair Maya Nelson, alongside Senior Manager of @america Lauren Clarke, and featured opening remarks from Commercial Counselor at the US Embassy Eric Hsu, along with Vice Chair of AmCham Indonesia and Managing Director of Bower Group Asia Douglas Ramage.

We also had experts share their insights on career and talent development trends during our company panel, which featured Senior Talent Acquisition Manager of HM Sampoerna Davidon Anugraha Susanto and Head of Human Resources & General Affairs at Kimberly-Clark Softex M Zaenal Abidin, and was moderated by AmCham Governor and Partner at SSEK Legal Consultants Stephen Igor Warokka. The event was closed by AmCham Indonesia Education and Workforce Committee Co-Chair Andrew Winoto.

“This was a wonderful opportunity!” said one participant as they were brought on stage to share their Career Fair experience. Participants said the event had given them the chance to better themselves and improve their job application skills, and that they were already looking forward to next year's event.

AmCham Indonesia would like to thank our main sponsors for the event, at CEO level HM Sampoerna, and at Boardroom level Kimberly-Clark Softex. We would also like to thank participating companies EY Indonesia, Reckitt, RSM Indonesia, Siemens, Starbucks, Hyatt Indonesia, GE, and Boston Scientific. See you all at next year's Career Fair.
