AmCham Indonesia convened its third Services Committee Meeting of 2026 on June 10 at the American Club, bringing together members from across industries for a discussion on Indonesia’s business environment and economic outlook.
Led by Committee Chair and Governor Emeritus Peter Meyer, the meeting provided an opportunity for participants to exchange views on macroeconomic conditions, regulatory and tax developments, investment trends, digital transformation, and the growing adoption of AI across industries.
The discussion also highlighted concerns around policy predictability, regulatory certainty, and ease of doing business, as well as the potential impact of global developments on business planning and competitiveness.
As part of the Committee’s regular temperature take on the business climate, members recorded 0 positive, 5 neutral, and 21 negative responses.
