About committee
The Committee provides a platform to stakeholders to discuss complex policy and regulatory issues in the area of Food, Beverages and Agriculture – for example the mandatory halal certification, sugar-sweetened beverage excise, and import-related issues such as the implementation of the commodity balance (NK) system and changes to other import policies. The aim of the Committee is to support AmCham members' business interests and promote a sound policy and regulatory environment through dialogue and collaboration with the government and other relevant stakeholders.
