The Committee keeps abreast of proposed and actual changes in Indonesian tax legislation and regulations. The committee conducts information-sharing events on tax-related developments and their likely implications for various sectors. Areas of major concerns to foreign investors are identified for possible communication by AmCham to government officials. With the promulgation of the Tax Harmonization Law (UU HPP), the Tax Committee has been actively socializing important tax regulations and protocols to ensure members are up to date with the latest tax developments.
