Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Once again, time is seriously flying – certainly for some of us – and, in order to maintain the concept of regular, bi-monthly, AmCham Indonesia Services Committee breakfasts, I am sending you this message, asking that you, please, reserve Tuesday morning, May 28th, from 8:00AM – 9:30AM, for our usual around the table exchange of information, observations and expectations, enjoying a nice breakfast and the opportunity for some valuable face to face time with other business representatives in the environment we are committed to.

It will be interesting to have our usual temperature take on economic prospects, which the last time resulted in 44 percent positive, 25 percent negative and 31 percent neutral votes, updated again, to see expectations for the rest of 2024, and to exchange the resulting considerations in another one of our casual but nevertheless very professional sessions, addressing the services sector in Indonesia.

For potential newcomers to the AmCham services breakfast, you should most likely have an opportunity to meet representatives from the banking, insurance, security, legal, real estate, audit/tax, hospitality, accounting, health, forwarding, IT, digital marketing, education, energy, retail, F&B and consulting sectors, and also be given updates from the US Embassy as well as the latest from the AmCham office. A very broad, but highly informative opportunity, to get a hands on picture of the overall environment, which also tends to be much appreciated by regional and head offices around the world.

Following AmCham security practice, I will follow up with information regarding the location of the meeting closer to the event, but I can assure you, especially regular participants, that there will be no surprises, considering the usual address in South Jakarta.

Please be so kind and register your participation with the AmCham office, be prepared for a brief presentation of your business sector and provide us/me with a written summary of your input, for the resulting minutes of the May 28 Services Breakfast.
