The AmChams of Asia Pacific (AAP) Door Knock (DK) : "US-ASEAN RELATIONS, WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2024"
Apr 04, 2024 / 09:00 - 10:00

Dear AmCham Members,

We are thrilled to extend a cordial invitation to you to join an exclusive virtual discussion featuring the esteemed US Ambassador to ASEAN Yohannes Abraham. As a key participant in shaping diplomatic ties between the United States and the ASEAN region, the Ambassador will be shedding light on the evolving landscape of US-ASEAN relations and providing valuable insights into what to anticipate in the year 2024.

Ambassador Abraham will share the US government's priorities for ASEAN for the coming year, including the role of US economic contributions to the region in terms of advancing US national interests and the role of the private sector in doing so. He will also discuss US foreign policy in the region with a particular focus on Southeast Asia.

The session will be moderated by AmChams of the Asia Pacific (AAP) Chair Steven Okun, CEO of APAC Advisors and Senior Advisor to McLarty Associates.

This meeting is being hosted by the AmChams of Asia Pacific and is open to any member of any AmCham in the region.

Regards,
